As Adam Schefter reported, Falcons first round pick Keanu Neal will have a minor knee scope Monday and will be out three to four weeks, which means he'll at least miss the season opener against Tampa Bay. Neal was set to start at strong safety. His backup, Kemal Ishmael, is out right now with a shoulder injury. And Damian Parms is next on the depth chart. The Falcons cut ties with veteran strong safety William Moore, who remains a free agent.

Dolphins HC Adam Gase said defensive starters Ndamukong Suh (pictured) and Jelani Jenkins had minor ankle injuries Thursday night against the Falcons and "will be fine" moving forward. A lot of starters likely will sit next week and get ready for the regular-season opener against the Seattle Seahawks.
