The clock is ticking on the Vikings

Every time Sam Bradford drops back to pass, it's one one-thousand, two one-thousand -- a ticking clock until he gets hit. And thus, the Vikings' season is a season in jeopardy.

The Cardinals had the ball for 46:19 against the Seahawks. That's the second-highest time of possession for any team in any game since 2001.

The Seahawks managed just two field goals on 13 offensive possessions during their 6-6 tie to the Cardinals. Both teams missed chip shot field goals in overtime, seemingly trying to hand the game to each other. This week must be about finding answers on offense. Russell Wilson is clearly still not 100 percent, and the offensive line was shaky. The Seahawks will look to come up with fixes before next week's game against the Saints.

While he doesn't offer it, Wynn sports book director Johnny Avello says he makes the true odds of an NFL game ending in a tie at 275 to 1.

Vegas sports books rarely put up odds on NFL games ending in a tie because the odds are so slim. At the Wynn now and they didn't have it.

The tie is more of a win for Seattle than it is for Arizona. The Cardinals were a 24-yard field goal away from a third straight win that would have put them a half-game behind the first-place Seahawks and put their season squarely back on track after a 1-3 start. Seattle has to feel like it got away with playing a lousy game and not losing it, and they're still a game and a half up without having played their best. No one feels good, I'm sure, but this is tougher for Arizona.

Last full NFL game I went to was the MN/GB tie @ Lambeau. As a fan its so awkward in the stands...like do we shake hands & leave in silence?

As ties go, that's the best one I've ever seen. Don't care what y'all haters think. It's not satisfying but it was entertaining.

The Cardinals and Seahawks play to a 6-6 tie on Sunday Night Football. The ViewFromVegas is the Seahawks cover the spread as 2-point road underdogs (money-line bets are a push and subject to refunds). The easiest winning bet in NFL Week 7 was under 43 points in this game.

Seahawks respond with a missed FG of their own. It is still 6-6 in OT with just seconds to play.

Neither team deserved to lose this game. Or something.

This is incredible.
