The Seahawks have cut DB Brandon Browner. The original "Legion of Boom" member returned to the team on a one-year deal after two seasons away from the Seattle. Browner practiced as a backup safety, and Pete Carroll had hoped that the veteran could match up with tight ends, but the experiment didn't work out.

The Redskins claimed guard Vinston Painter off waivers, after he was released by the Miami Dolphins. Painter, a 2013 sixth-round draft pick by Denver, is with his fifth organization. He appeared in three games, all with Cleveland in 2014. The Redskins have some health issues along the line, with guard Spencer Long nursing an ankle injury and guard Shawn Lauvao still working his way back from an ankle injury. Guard Arie Kouandjio hasn't had a great summer in his second season.

The Arizona Cardinals announced 11 cuts and two other roster moves on Monday: G Jake Bernstein, WR Amir Carlisle, TE Gerald Christian, T Clay DeBord, LS Daniel Dillon, DT Iosia Iosia, WR Franky Okafor, CB Shaun Prater, P Garrett Swanson and S Tyrequek Zimmerman were released, QB Jake Coker (knee) was waived/injured, and CB Mike Jenkins (knee) was placed on IR. That puts Arizona's roster at 77 players. They have to be at 75 by 4 pm ET Tuesday.
