Without Marshawn - the game done changed

After a powerful 'Conan' appearance, it's fascinating to ponder how Lynch might have participated in this season of protests

Vikings DST came into the week as the number one DST. Number 1 this week so far. Unowned in 30% of active leagues on ESPN.

The Dolphins ran play action with a flat route on the Ryan Tannehill TD pass to Damien Williams. That might be the most basic concept in every NFL playbook, but it takes advantage of poor defensive eye discipline in short yardage situations. Miami is now up 24-13 over the Browns in the 4th quarter.

The Cardinals are essentially tipping the snap, which they used to their advantage by drawing the Bills into a neutral-zone infraction on their last drive. RG Earl Watford is tapping C A.Q. Shipley when it's time for him to snap it. The Bills are trying to time their rush accordingly.

Bills safety Aaron Williams on the training table for the third time today. Meanwhile, backup RB Mike Gillislee attended by trainers after being injured on kickoff.

Josh Weinfuss ESPN Staff Writer

A delay of game penalty on the play before forced Cardinals to kick a field goal instead of going for it on fourth-and-1. That led to the high snap. Which led to a touchdown.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

The Redskins keep using two-deep safety looks, allowing the Giants to keep running the ball without an extra defender in the box to help. The Redskins clearly want to give their safeties help, but to play this way they must tackle better in the box. They haven't always done so.

Ben Goessling ESPN Staff Writer

The Vikings' steady pressure on Cam Newton has changed the tenor of this game. They've sacked Newton four times, and Tom Johnson's hit on the reigning league MVP came before Terence Newman picked off Newton's throw across the field. After trailing 10-0, the Vikings have a chance to make it a two-score game.

SCOOP AND SCORE! A bad snap by the Cardinals on a FG attempt ends in a Bills TD. Buffalo leads Arizona, 30-7.

Mike Rodak ESPN Staff Writer

It's pandemonium at New Era Field as Bills recover Cardinals' botched field attempt for a 53-yard touchdown return. Now up 30-7 over Cardinals. Coaches, players jumping up and down on sideline.

Jaguars just asked TE Julius Thomas to block LB Terrell Suggs. Did a decent job, too.

Bill Barnwell @billbarnwell

Cards have fourth-and-2 inside the ten-yard line. Delay of game. Bad snap. Injured punter holding can't run. Bills return it for TD.

Panthers center Ryan Kalil walks off under his own power but Carolina is reeling after that Cam Newton interception.

Victor Cruz has made a big play for #Giants in every game so far. He told me he's surprising himself after missing 700 days with injuries

Colts defensive lineman Henry Anderson is also making his season debut after tearing his ACL in Week 9 last season

Big test for this Rams secondary, which remains shorthanded without E.J. Gaines. With Doug Martin out, Jameis Winston will throw often. Dark clouds hovering, but only light, intermittent rain thus far.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

Redskins offensive coordinator Sean McVay was criticized throughout the week for some of his play calling, but he had two excellent screen calls on the last series, catching New York off guard. On the second one, Jamison Crowder took it 55 yards for a score. But the big key was guard Trent Williams taking out two blockers. Crowder's burst made a huge difference on the play. He has always done an excellent job running inside after the catch.

Dan Graziano ESPN Staff Writer

Jamison Crowder comes in clearly fired up about Duke's victory yesterday. Can't underestimate the impact of these things.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

A win-win for the Colts. QB Andrew Luck (no surprise) is playing as expected and CB Vontae Davis is making his season debut Here are the Colts inactives; WR Donte Moncrief CB Darius Butler CB Patrick Robinson OL Le'Raven Clark OL Denzelle Good WR Devin Street DL T.Y. McGill
