I'm interested to see how this guy (Isaiah Pead) performs tonight. The running back has had a good preseason.

Worth noting that Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill did plenty of pregame work with TE Jordan Cameron. The two are still trying to get in the same page and improve chemistry.

Here is the Seahawks' depth chart for tonight's game against the Cowboys. Two players to watch: running back C.J. Prosise and OT J'Marcus Webb. Prosise has a chance to be the team's third-down back, but he's been hampered by a hamstring injury. Webb (knee) is looking to compete for playing time at tackle. Neither guy has played so far in the preseason.

The Panthers are bringing three-time Pro Bowl free safety Donte Whitner in for a workout on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported. The 31-year-old could be a big addition to a young secondary. Bringing him in also could mean the Panthers aren't convinced Tre Boston is ready to take over the job. Injuries at safety also could be an issue. Trenton Robinson suffered a shoulder injury in last week's preseason game at Tennessee after having a good camp. Whitner was released by Cleveland in April in part of a roster overhaul.
