Rookie DT Robert Nkemdiche had a "good day" of practice on Wednesday after thinking he couldn't practice because of a sore ankle, coach Bruce Arians said. Arians said he "kind of" urged Nkemdiche to practice and was pleased with what he saw out of the first-round pick. "I thought the 1-on-1s were good. I thought the team periods, he was still a little bit high at times. He's obviously got pass-rush ability."

A day after a headache kept John Brown out of practice, the Arizona Cardinals' third-year receiver was "fine this morning," coach Bruce Arians said. A decision about Brown's practice status will be made after he goes through individual drills but Brown will again wear the yellow no-contact jersey. Arians didn't know if Brown's headache was related to the concussion he suffered in late July or if was due to another issue, such as sinuses. "Once you get a headache, we got to treat it as still a problem."

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said in addition to wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, outside linebackers Shaq Riddick and Alex Okafor will not practice today, nor will cornerback Eli Bouka. DT Ed Stinson will go through individual drills where the Cardinals will see how much he can do.
