Blame Grigson, not Luck, for Colts' mess

"When you pay Andrew what we did, it's going to take some time to build on the other side of the ball," said Colts GM Ryan Grigson, who has had plenty of time and not much to show for it in Indy.

Football Kit Mashups: From A to Zenit

Football. And football. Same name, two totally different sports. But one thing they do have in common is iconic uniforms that help shape team identities. With the club season in full swing (and amid international break monotony), we had some fun.

Dolphins MLB Kiko Alonso got injured on the last play. Backup Mike Hull is in the game.

Greetings from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, where the Bucs are set to face the 49ers. Kickoff in a little over two hours. Niners are 18-5 all-time against the Bucs. The last time the Bucs won in San Francisco was a 21-0 win at Candlestick.

Mike Rodak ESPN Staff Writer

Reggie Busy has the biggest play by a Bills RB today -- as a wide receiver. Bush works out of the slot and gains 13 yards on third-and-6 catch.

Rob Kelley is in for the Redskins at running back after a second Matt Jones fumble.

Continue to keep an eye on tight end Vernon Davis. He's off to a solid start today with two catches for 30 yards. But his blocking has been very good as well. He's sealed good holes on at least two occasions. It wouldn't be surprising to see a bootleg to him after he sells the run.

Patriots LB Jamie Collins, with the notable hairdo, arrives at Heinz Field.

First quarter mercifully over in Philly. Combined 5 turnovers, 6 penalties. Obviously, there is no score.

James Walker ESPN Staff Writer

The Dolphins' special teams have had issues in recent games. Last week it was a blocked and missed field goal. Today they allowed a blocked punt.

TOUCHDOWN JETS! Quincy Enunwa finds the end zone for a 69-yard score off a Geno Smith pass.

Momentum shifting in a big way in Kansas City. Chiefs now lead Saints 14-7 after a 48-yard interception return for a touchdown by S Daniel Sorensen. Drew Brees' pass intended for Willie Snead was tipped in the air by S Eric Berry and bounced off Snead before being snagged by Sorensen. New Orleans got off to a 7-0 lead, but things have gone downhill with two Chiefs TDs and an injury to starting Saints LT Terron Armstead.

Bills come up with a blocked punt. They'll be starting at the Dolphins' 40. They have started two of their three drives in Miami territory today.

Rich Cimini ESPN Staff Writer

The Jets scored their first TD since Week 5. Quincy Enunwa took a 7-yard curl and outraced the Ravens' defense for a 69-yard TD -- the team's longest play of the year. It may have saved the Jets because this game was getting away from them. They trail, 10-7.

James Walker ESPN Staff Writer

The Bills took the penalty and blocked the Dolphins' punt on the next play. Matt Darr's punt went just 12 yards.

Tim McManus ESPN Staff Writer

Eagles cornerback Ron Brooks has been ruled out with a right knee injury. He was carted off the field late in the first quarter.

Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer

Ravens secondary gives up third TD pass of 66 yards or longer in their last three quarters at MetLife Stadium. Jets WR Quincy Enunwa turns seven-yard pass into big play. Baltimore, 10-7.

Paul Kuharsky ESPN Staff Writer

LG Quinton Spain is being tended to by medical staff. Cart coming on for him. Brian Schwenke will replace him.

PICK-SIX! Daniel Sorensen takes Drew Brees' deflected pass back to the end zone. Chiefs take the lead.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

The Redskins' defense continues to have issues with cutback runs especially when in their nickel defense. They're allowing big lanes as linemen and backers are getting washed out of gaps. It's another thing to watch as this game unfolds.

Field Yates @FieldYates

Geno Smith hooks up with WR Quincy Enunwa, who races 69 yards for a long TD. Jets now back within 3 points of Ravens, 10-7.

Mike Sando ESPN Senior Writer

The Vikings had committed only one turnover this season before today. Other teams that recently had only one turnover to this point in a season finished with 18 and 21, respectively. Things do tend to even out.

Mike Triplett ESPN Staff Writer

Bad break for Saints. Their standout LT Terron Armstead left the game late in the first quarter. He limped off the field with trainers, then eventually rode a cart back to the locker room after being checked out on the sidelined and walking around under his own power. Armstead has been dealing with a nagging knee injury that sidelined him for the past three games. The Saints are down to third-string LT Tony Hills since backup Andrus Peat is also out with a groin injury.

Bill Barnwell @billbarnwell

Yes, 2018, I can see into the future: I will predict that the Chargers or Bucs will be good and they won't come through.

James Walker ESPN Staff Writer

Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry gets an unsportsmanlike penalty for taunting after a 26-yard reception. Not good. One more similar penalty and Landry is ejected for the game.
