Three Bengals injured in preseason loss

On a weekend filled with major injuries across the NFL, the Bengals probably just wanted to get through Sunday night's game against the Jaguars safe and sound. They didn't make it past pregame warmups. Big injuries

JAGUARS 26, BENGALS 21 (Final): The Bengals starting units looked in sync and rookie Alex Erickson continued to impress as a kick returner. That was the good part. The bad? Cedric Peerman broke his forearm, and Adam Jones and A.J Green both suffered what appeared to be minor injuries. At this point, they're probably ready to get back to Cincinnati and out of the preseason.

TJ Yeldon's preseason production: Game 1: 4 car, 26 yds (6.5 YPC) Game 2: 2 car, 15 yds (7.5 YPC) Game 3: 5 car, 34 yds (6.8 YPC) +4 catches for 20 yards

Offensive lineman T.J Johnson has been taken to the locker room to be evaluated for a possible concussion.

OL Greg Robinson and CB Troy Hill were evaluated for concussions on Saturday, but Fisher said they're both ahead of schedule.

Bengals RB Cedric Peerman has a left forearm fracture, according to the team.

BENGALS 14, JAGUARS 3 (halftime): What a mess for the Jaguars. The offense managed just 12 yards and turned the ball over in the first quarter. C Brandon Linder had two false start penalties. LT/LG Luke Joeckel spent a good part o his night going backwards. The defense allowed the Bengals to go on a nine-minute drive and CB Prince Amukamara was penalized for pass interference in the end zone. It was an embarrassing performance all around on national TV.

Katherine Terrell ESPN Staff Writer

HALFTIME: Bengals 14, Jaguars 3. The Bengals would normally be happy about how their starters performed in the first half, but with injuries to three of their Pro Bowlers, they were probably just happy to get to the locker room. Adam Jones, A.J. Green and Cedric Peerman all left with injuries, with Peerman appearing to sustain a serious arm injury.

Rams WR Pharoh Cooper has a shoulder injury and will miss "a few weeks," Jeff Fisher said. Will miss at least the opener, it seems.

Now Cedric Peerman is being looked at by trainers on the sideline, who are fitting him with an air cast on his left arm. He looks very distrust hot. Just that kind of night.
