Former Bucs wide receiver Keenan McCardell has been named the wide receivers coach for the Jaguars. He spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons coaching receivers at Maryland and prior to that, coached receivers for the Redskins.

The Lions players voted Matthew Stafford the team's offensive MVP and Glover Quin the team's defensive MVP. Both awards make sense as they were Detroit's two best players in 2016 (other than the specialists, Sam Martin and Matt Prater, who were among the best in the NFL at their positions).
