Unfortunately the Saints have become way too familiar with starts like this year's 0-3. Drew Brees said it's not easy to overcome, but he said that's why they want out and got the kind of guys they got. Guys who won't cash it in at the first sign of adversity.

"I thought our running backs were awesome tonight," Matt Ryan said of Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman.

P Ryan Quigley to be among the 9 players that GM Steve Keim said the Cardinals will bring in for a tryout Tuesday. They're expected to sign Quigley to replace P Drew Butler, who's out "some time" with a sprained Achilles and foot injury.

Saints QB Drew Brees: It's accountability. Young guys need to have it, veteran guys need to have it. Everyone needs to figure out what they can do better. And can't beat themselves. Said they won almost every category besides the turnover ratio, 2-0 -- and they were two huge ones.

Deion Jones on if he could have scripted a better return to his hometown of New Orleans: "Probably not." Jones had a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown and spotted his family in the crowd afterward.

Falcons beat Saints 45-32 to close out NFL Week 3. The ViewFromVegas is they did it as 3-point road underdogs and +135 on money line. It was the seventh outright upset of the weekend (and that doesn't include Patriots, who were 'dogs earlier last week before closing pick 'em on Thursday night).

Falcons sit atop the NFC South now at 2-1 after a 45-32 win over the rival Saints (0-3) Monday night. Devonta Freeman with 152 rushing yards on just 14 carries, while Tevin Coleman had three touchdowns on 12 carries. Matt Ryan and the offense clicked even with Julio Jones managing just one catch for 16 yards. Rookie Deion Jones with a 90-yard interception return for touchdown in return home to New Orleans. Falcons now will face Carolina (1-2) at home on a short week Sunday.

Falcons RBs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman took this game over in New Orleans...Freeman produced 152 yards rushing and Coleman added three touchdowns on the ground. The Falcons controlled the line of scrimmage and created running lanes all night in the 45-32 win over the Saints.

Another epic loss for the Saints as they fall to 0-3 -- 45-32 to the Falcons. The Saints actually outgained Atlanta 474 yards to 442, but they were the ones who committed two game-changing turnovers (a botched punt return for a fumble in the first quarter, then an interception returned 90 yards for a TD by Atlanta LB Deion Jones in the fourth).
