Here's my quick review of everything we saw in Week 10 of the 2005 NFL season:
Offensive player of the week
Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander. Ran for 165 yards and three touchdowns as Seattle finally swept the Rams, 31-16.
Defensive player of the week
Vikings S Darren Sharper. Totaled four tackles, knocked down five passes and grabbed three interceptions, returning one of those thefts 92 yards for a score as the Vikings shocked the Giants, 24-21.
Coaching move of the Week
Another gutsy call on the one-yard line by a head coach. Tampa Bay's Jon Gruden takes advantage of a Washington penalty and decides to go for a two-point conversion for the win instead of the tie in the final seconds (and gets its) as the Bucs edge the Redskins, 36-35.
The last team to open 9-0 was the Chiefs in 2003, who then suffered their first loss at Cincinnati. The 7-2 Bengals host the 9-0 Colts next week.
