Donte Paige-Moss to enter draft

North Carolina defensive end Donte Paige-Moss has informed his coaches he will enter the NFL draft.

Paige-Moss, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, had 29 tackles this season, including two sacks.

Paige-Moss plans to have surgery on a torn left ACL this week. Paige-Moss had 49 tackles, including seven sacks, last season. He tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the Tar Heels' loss to Missouri in the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl on Dec. 26.

While Paige-Moss is headed to the NFL, teammate Kevin Reddick has told UNC coaches he will not enter this spring's draft.

"I can make myself better. I can become more flexible and ensure I will be a first round draft choice," said Reddick, a linebacker. "I also want to get my degree in December because that's a big thing for my Mom."

Reddick listed at 6-2 and 230 pounds, is the No. 26 player in the draft, according to ESPN's Scouts Inc.

Reddick said he believes UNC defensive lineman Sylvester Williams will also likely return to school.
