Dickson, who hails from Sydney, Australia, was a unanimous All-America selection this season. He also won the Ray Guy Award as the nation's top punter, leading the FBS with an average of 48.4 yards per punt.
He will play for the Longhorns in the Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl against Missouri on Dec. 27.
According to ESPN Stats & Information, only two punters that have left school early to enter the NFL draft have been selected -- Clemson's Bradley Pinion (drafted 165th overall by the 49ers in 2015) and Clemson's Chris Gardocki (No. 78 by the Bears in 1991).
