Seahawks shake 21-point deficit for OT win

Steven Hauschka kicked a 27-yard field goal with 8:11 left in overtime, and the Seattle Seahawks staged the biggest rally in franchise history, overcoming a 21-point deficit to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-24 in overtime on Sunday.

  • The Seahawks won despite a -3 turnover margin, just the second team to win this season (Lions Week 8 vs Cowboys) with a margin that bad. Teams with a -3 turnover margin are 2-19 this season.

  • - The Buccaneers gained 172 yards on 31 designed rushes (doesn't include scrambles) in the first three quarters Sunday. Despite the success, and the fact that they maintained a lead until late in the fourth quarter, only four of the Bucs' final 16 plays were rushes by design.- Mike Glennon's average pass traveled 8.5 yards downfield in the first half Sunday and was 4 of 5 with two touchdowns when passing more than 10 yards downfield. Glennon's average pass in the second half traveled 4.4 yards downfield with only two attempts more than 10 yards (both incomplete).- The Buccaneers sent at least five pass rushers on half of Russell Wilson's dropbacks in the second half after doing so 36 percent of the time in the first half.
