Blame Grigson, not Luck, for Colts' mess

"When you pay Andrew what we did, it's going to take some time to build on the other side of the ball," said Colts GM Ryan Grigson, who has had plenty of time and not much to show for it in Indy.

Football Kit Mashups: From A to Zenit

Football. And football. Same name, two totally different sports. But one thing they do have in common is iconic uniforms that help shape team identities. With the club season in full swing (and amid international break monotony), we had some fun.

Good morning, Los Angeles. Are you awake? In less than 80 minutes, the Rams will be playing football for real. Pharoh Cooper, Sean Mannion, Nelson Spruce, Trumaine Johnson, Jamon Brown, Michael Brockers and Pace Murphy are inactive for their game against the Giants from London.

Odell Beckham Jr. (hip/ab) just spent a lot of time with trainers. Didn't warm up with the wide receivers and had long conversation with Ben McAdoo.

With Robert Woods looking to be a no-go for the Bills, Justin Hunter, Marquise Goodwin and - dare I say it - Reggie Bush - may see increased fantasy output.

Although Carson Palmer looks like he is safe to start for fantasy tonight, it's not clear if he will have John Brown as a target. Brown was just diagnosed with sickle-cell trait, so his status going forward probably hinges on how he feels on any given Sunday.

Will this net on the Giants sideline get some action? It has been very involved in recent weeks.

First Giants player on the field is center Weston Richburg. He's sticking to his routine. Always out early.

Definitely a lot of random jerseys. That's Dez Bryant. But no doubt more Giants than Rams at this "road" game.

Not that there was a question, but Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr is active today, per source.

*Chargers' WR Travis Benjamin, listed as questionable with knee injury, is expected to play today vs. Falcons, per source.

Ravens' QB Joe Flacco, listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, is expected to start today vs Jets, per source.

Projecting the Jets' inactives for tomorrow: LB Darron Lee (injured), RT Brent Qvale (injured), QB Bryce Petty, QB Christian Hackenberg, WR Jeremy Butler, CB Nick Marshall, LB Victor Ochi. Tough call on DE Muhammad Wilkerson, who is questionable with an ankle injury. It wouldn't shock me if he's inactive, but they can carry him on the 46 without a problem. Todd Bowles said Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the No. 2 QB.

The Saints waived rookie QB Joe Callahan Saturday, one week after claiming him off waivers from the Packers. They promoted DE Chris McCain from the practice squad to replace him. It's possible the Saints could try to bring Callahan back to their practice squad if another team doesn't claim him. However, he could sign with any practice squad he wants -- meaning he could opt to return to Green Bay if invited.

With outside linebacker Jerry Attaochu ruled out with an ankle issue, Chargers promote outside linebacker Chris Landrum. To make room on active roster, Chargers waived cornerback Pierre Desir.
