PHILADELPHIA -- Defensive end Jerome McDougle will miss the
at least two regular-season games with a high-ankle sprain, a mild
knee sprain and a bruised hip bone in his left leg.
McDougle, who was hurt in Thursday's preseason game against the
New York Jets, underwent an MRI exam on Friday.
McDougle, the 15th overall pick in the draft was expected to
help fill the void left by the departure of three-time Pro Bowl
defensive end Hugh Douglas.
Last week, the Eagles lost rookie defensive end Jamaal Green,
McDougle's teammate at Miami, for the season with a knee injury.
The Eagles also announced they have traded second-year wide
receiver Freddie Milons to Pittsburgh for a future undisclosed
draft choice. Milons, who played at Alabama, was inactive for all
16 games in his rookie season.
