Broncos QB Hackney arrested on suspicion of DUI

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Third-string Denver Broncos quarterback
Darrell Hackney was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of driving
under the influence.

Police spokesman Brad Johnson said the 24-year-old was pulled
over about 2:20 a.m. by an officer who found probable cause for the
investigation. The arrest was first reported by KUSA-TV in Denver.

District attorney's spokeswoman Kathleen Walsh said Monday that
Hackney has been charged with counts including failure to stop at a
stop sign and driving without proof of insurance.

A return date for the summons was set for Jan. 18.

Hackney was processed and released into the custody of a sober
third party.
