Cornerback Vasher returns to Bears' starting lineup

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ The Chicago Bears put cornerback Nathan
Vasher back in the starting lineup for Monday night's game against
the Minnesota Vikings.

Vasher has missed the last 10 games with a groin injury. He was
on the active list for the banged-up Bears defense that has not
been at full strength all season. Chicago also deactivated nose
tackle Darwin Walker, who has been bothered this week by an elbow

The Vikings, who came out for warmups wearing purple pants with
their home purple jerseys for the first time, put wide receiver
Troy Williamson on the inactive list.

Williamson has been cleared to play following a concussion
sustained in the Nov. 25 game against the New York Giants, but the
former seventh overall draft pick has fallen to the bottom of the
depth chart behind rookie Aundrae Allison. Allison has emerged as
Minnesota's lead kickoff returner.
