Sprained MCL in knee forces Jags' Pro Bowl DT Henderson from practice

Jacksonville defensive tackle John Henderson missed practice because of a sprained medial collateral knee ligament.

Henderson injured his knee Sunday at Cincinnati, before he was ejected for trading blows with Bengals offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth.

Coach Jack Del Rio wasn't sure when Henderson will practice. He also said he doesn't know if Henderson will get suspended by the league for the altercation.

Henderson was penalized for a blow to Whitworth's head while rushing the passer. Whitworth's helmet flew off, and Henderson grabbed the lineman around the head and started gouging at his eyes. Whitworth broke free and threw two left-handed punches at Henderson.

Both players were ejected. Henderson waved to jeering fans as he walked to the tunnel.

Cornerback Rashean Mathis (foot) and running back Fred Taylor (knee) also missed practice.
