Browns waive Rucker, Floyd

CLEVELAND -- For the second straight week, Browns coach Eric Mangini has waived a high draft pick of Cleveland's previous regime.

Tight end Martin Rucker, a fourth-round selection in 2008, was waived by the Browns (0-2) on Tuesday along with defensive back Marquis Floyd. Last week, Mangini released linebacker Leon Williams.

The Browns were also were awarded tight end Greg Estandia off waivers from Jacksonville and signed free agent defensive back Anthony Madison.

The 6-foot-8, 266-pound Estandia spent two seasons on the Jaguars' roster. He made two starts, appeared in 26 games and had 19 catches for 249 yards.

Madison played 38 games in three seasons with Pittsburgh from 2006-08.
