HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston Texans running back Ahman Green and receiver Jacoby Jones were listed as inactive for Sunday's game against Miami.
It is the second consecutive week that both players have been inactive. Green has a bruised knee and Jones has a separated shoulder. The Texans are also without Andre Johnson, who is inactive for the third straight game with a knee sprain.
Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder and defensive tackle Vonnie Holliday were inactive, but Pro Bowl linebacker Zach Thomas was activated after missing the last two games with a concussion.

Struggling Dolphins defense faces improving Texans
The Texans have gotten off track the past two weeks, but QB Matt Schaub is still been playing at a high level and continues to show that he is the leader of the offense, if not the entire team. The Dolphins are off to a rough start and it's been something different every week that keeps Miami from earning a win. The defense hasn't been playing well and the offense has been inconsistent. These are two teams who are due for a win and the team that commits the least amount of mistakes will come out on top. However, this is easier said than done. Miami head coach Cam Cameron wants his offense to form an identity, which it hasn't yet. He needs to have production running the ball and keep the passing game simple and safe for veteran QB Trent Green. The Miami defense is giving up big plays, which is uncharacteristic of defensive coordinator Dom Capers. Houston head coach Gary Kubiak will try to take advantage of the weak Dolphins defense and keep them on the field as much as possible.
