The rookie out of Notre Dame missed the first three games of the regular season with a sprained foot he suffered during exhibition play. Te'o finished the regular season with 49 tackles.

San Diego punter Mike Scifres suffered a back injury while trying to tackle Eric Decker on a long punt return in the second quarter, but returned to the game in the second half.
