INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 360 yards in the first half Sunday against the
Denver Broncos, the highest total for a half in any playoff game
since the AFL and NFL merged in 1970.
Manning was named The Associated Press Offensive Player of the
Year after throwing 49 touchdowns and finishing with a 121.1 passer
rating, both NFL records.
In the first half of Sunday's wild-card matchup against the
Broncos, Manning was 21 of 27 with three touchdowns and one
interception. He also ran 1 yard for his first touchdown on the
ground since the 2002 season.
