2010 NFL Power Rankings: Week 16

Updated: December 21, 2010, 2:10 PM ET

For the second consecutive week, the New England Patriots are the unanimous choice of our experts to reign atop ESPN.com's NFL Power Rankings.

The Patriots are followed by the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets in the top five. The Eagles vaulted three places to their season-high No. 3 ranking in the wake of a thrilling 38-31 victory at the New York Giants.

The Week 16 slate promises good matchups. The Falcons will play host to the No. 7 New Orleans Saints, the defending Super Bowl champions, on ESPN's "Monday Night Football." This will be a rematch of their Week 3 thriller, which the visiting Falcons won 27-24 in overtime.

The No. 5 Jets will visit the No. 8 Chicago Bears, the newly crowned NFC North champions. The No. 9 Giants, reeling from their loss to the Eagles, will visit the No. 12 Green Bay Packers. Wild-card playoff hopes are in jeopardy.
