2011 NFL Power Rankings: Week 6

Updated: October 11, 2011, 3:39 PM ET

The Packers are still rolling, which means there's still little suspense when it comes to the top of our rankings.

Aaron Rodgers and Co. keep putting up impressive victories, and our experts (ESPN.com's John Clayton, ESPN.com's Ashley Fox, AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky, NFC West blogger Mike Sando and AFC East blogger James Walker) keep putting them in the only place that makes sense -- ahead of everyone else. After improving to 5-0 with a 25-14 victory over the Falcons, Green Bay is once again the unanimous No. 1.

The rest of the list is far from static, however. On the heels of a 48-3 pasting of Tampa Bay, the 49ers jumped seven spots to No. 9. Look for coach Jim Harbaugh's bunch to move even higher if they can tame the unbeaten Lions (No. 4) in Week 6.

The Steelers, notable fallers a week ago, are also on the upswing. Thanks to a 38-17 victory over Tennessee, Pittsburgh has moved from No. 13 to No. 7. Another top-10 newcomer is Washington. Idle in Week 5, the Skins were able to move up two spots to No. 10. Not bad for a team that started the season buried at No. 28.

Things aren't nearly as encouraging for the Texans. Not only did they fall six spots to No. 12, but star LB Mario Williams is out for the season with a pectoral injury. With the well-rested Ravens waiting in Week 6, the Texans' tumble could be just beginning.
