2013 NFL Power Rankings: Week 11

Updated: November 12, 2013, 4:53 PM ET

You can never get too comfortable in the NFL. Just look at the Colts.

No. 2 here last week, Andrew Luck & Co. appeared to be a team on the rise. Then they returned to the field and got blindsided by the Kellen Clemens-led Rams in a 38-8 loss.

Did our voters (John Clayton, Ashley Fox, Dan Graziano, Jamison Hensley, Mike Sando and Kevin Seifert) give Indy a pass? Not exactly. The Colts, who at times this season looked like a threat for the No. 1 spot, fell five spots to No. 7.

Indianapolis wasn't the only purported heavyweight to stumble in Week 10. The 49ers, Bengals and Bears, all top-10 teams a week ago, all lost Sunday. San Francisco slid three spots to No. 8, while Cincinnati dropped from No. 8 to No. 10. Chicago fell to No. 11, making room for Carolina (now No. 6).

Will our top 10 see more shuffling in the weeks to come? Don't rule it out. As the Colts proved, few teams are as automatic as they appear.
