2014 NFL Power Rankings: Week 13

Updated: November 25, 2014, 3:27 PM ET

The Patriots remain at No. 1, but you don't have to look far to find a significant change in our hierarchy.

The Cardinals, No. 2 the past four weeks, were smoked by the defending champion Seahawks in Week 12. As a result, ESPN's Power Panel (a group of more than 80 writers, editors and TV personalities) promoted the impressive Packers to the second spot.

The subtle rise by Aaron Rodgers & Co. (they were No. 3 previously) creates a perfect backdrop for Week 13. In what is being billed as a potential Super Bowl preview, New England and Green Bay square off Sunday with a No. 1 ranking in the balance.

That's not the only matchup worthy of attention. The Thanksgiving weekend menu also includes Dallas-Philadelphia, Seattle-San Francisco and Denver-Kansas City, giving us plenty of games with the potential to shake things up.
