The Ravens signed journeyman wide receiver-returner Griff Whalen on the same day they placed Michael Campanaro on PUP. Like Campanaro, Whalen can play slot receiver and return punts. The Ravens had to make this move because Campanaro can't prove he can remain healthy. Baltimore also signed undrafted rookie cornerback Reggie Porter. He was signed by the Colts after the draft but was released on June 12.

The Bills will host WR Anquan Boldin, among other players, on a free-agent visit Monday, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Dan Graziano. Boldin, 36, led the Lions with 22 red zone targets last season. If the Bills sign him, he would be added to a competition at No. 2 receiver alongside rookie Zay Jones and veteran Andre Holmes, while also providing insurance in case of another injury to Sammy Watkins. The Bills begin training camp July 27.

The Bengals released a statement on Adam Jones' suspension: "The Bengals anticipated this result and are glad to finally put the matter behind is. Our focus is getting ready for the upcoming season. Adam will participate in training camp and we are counting on him to help our team when he returns from suspension."
