For the first time in two weeks Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith will get some work on the field Friday, according to Jason Garrett, but he did not go through any individual work during the portion that was open to the media as he works through a groin injury. The Cowboys are likely going to take the decision on whether he plays to game time Sunday. Jason Garrett said Smith has made progress this week in his rehab. Sean Lee (hamstring) and Jeff Heath (concussion) will not practice.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn said he and general manager Thomas Dimitroff "definitely considered" re-signing veteran pass rusher Dwight Freeney, now with the Seahawks. But Quinn said he wanted to develop his young pass rushers first.

The Bengals are going to be short handed at CB with Adam Jones out and some uncertainty around William Jackson. So the likely candidates if Jackson can't go would be Dre Kirkpatrick and Darqueze Dennard in base defense with Josh Shaw coming in for the nickel packages.

Michael DiRocco ESPN Staff Writer

Jaguars officially listing RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) questionable for Sunday. WRs Allen Hurns (ankle) and Arrelious Benn (knee) are out.

Katherine Terrell ESPN Staff Writer

Adam Jones (concussion), Kevin Minter (elbow) and Pat Sims (calf) have been ruled out. William Jackson (toe) and Brandon LaFell (knee) are questionable to play vs. Denver.

Courtney Cronin ESPN Staff Writer

Mike Remmers (concussion) was not practicing today. Not a good sign for Sunday. Andrew Sendejo also not practicing during media portion. Brian Robinson, who was w/o helmet at the start of practice, went through stretching with his team but disappeared into the locker room during drills and did not return.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

Others not practicing today: receiver Terrelle Pryor (ankle) and center Spencer Long (knees). Neither practiced Thursday as well.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

Redskins left tackle Trent Williams is going through individual work Friday. But tight end Jordan Reed remains sidelined. Williams worked last Friday as well and played in the game.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

The Redskins need Matt Ioannidis healthy to deal with a good line Sunday in New Orleans. Ioannidis has missed the last two games with a broken bone in his hand and has practiced this week with it protected by a club.

Jordan Raanan ESPN Staff Writer

Ben McAdoo had a few 1-on-1s with players throughout the week after his brutally honest Wednesday meeting. Seemed to be gauging the temperature of his team heading into Sunday vs. Chiefs.

Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer

Ravens are the healthiest they've been all season. Cornerback Jimmy Smith practiced for the first time this week. Smith missed the previous two days with his on-going Achilles injury. Only player not practicing was linebacker Terrell Suggs, who was given his usual Friday off.

Michael Rothstein ESPN Staff Writer

No Ezekiel Ansah or Dwayne Washington at Lions practice again Friday. Doesn't bode well for either one for Sunday against the Bears.
