More bad news for the Saints' embattled secondary. Their top cornerback, rookie Marshon Lattimore, missed Wednesday's practice with a concussion. And veteran Sterling Moore missed Wednesday's practice with a chest injury. The Saints will be extremely thin if both players can't go Sunday at Carolina, since veteran starting cornerback Delvin Breaux will already miss half the season with a broken fibula. ... Both of the Saints' starting offensive tackles, Terron Armstead and Zach Strief, also remain sidelined Wednesday and are unlikely to play this week. And backup DT Mitchell Loewen was placed on injured reserve with a reported ankle injury (leaving open the possibility he could return).

Jets coach Todd Bowles said TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins has "got to get in a little better shape. That's to be expected with two weeks off, but he'll get going." Bowles said it's too early to say for sure that Seferian-Jenkins will be active on Sunday against the Dolphins. It would be a surprise if he's not. The Jets have four other tight ends on the roster, but three are dealing with injuries. Seferian-Jenkins is eligible to return from a two-game suspension.

The Cardinals had a walk-through today, instead of a regular practice, since they have an extra day with "Monday Night Football." Arizona will wear pads in Thursday's practice. "It was a very, very good learning day," coach Bruce Arians said. "I think it was a good start to the week as far as getting used to a little bit different offense and, obviously, a very different defense that they play that we've been seeing."
