The Colts have placed starting inside linebacker Jon Bostic (knee) and center Ryan Kelly (concussion) on the injured reserve list. Kelly has missed the last three games after suffering the concussion in the first half against Tennessee on Nov. 26. Bostic injured his knee against Denver last week. The Panthers announced that Tina Becker has been named Chief Operating Officer with full control of the day-to-day management of the organization, making her one of the highest-ranking female executives for any of the 32 teams in the NFL. “These have been some of the most difficult days of my 19 years with the Panthers, but I am lifted up by the strong resolve and the commitment our employees have shown to this organization,” Becker said in a statement. “Our team on the field is performing at a very high level, and I believe is bound for the Super Bowl. My immediate focus will be to ensure the corporate side of the organization performs at the same high level, while addressing the real concerns that have been raised in recent days.”

Ravens coach John Harbaugh didn't rule out either wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (knee) or defensive lineman Carl Davis (leg) for Saturday's game but both might not play until the regular season finale. "Nothing serious in terms them being out for the season," Harbaugh said.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh made the point that his team is on six-day schedule for Saturday's game against the Colts. He pointed out that Indianapolis will have nine days after playing last Thursday. "We got some catching up to do," Harbaugh said.

Aaron Jones gained 43 yards on his first two run and then had only one more carry the rest of the game. Jamaal Williams (10 rushes for 30 yards) remained the No. 1 back. Here's the offensive snap count list from Sunday's loss at Carolina.

Here's a familiar story from the Packers' defense: they registered only one sack (by Kenny Clark) and two total QB hits. The pass rush must be addressed in the offseason. Here's the defensive snap count list from Sunday's loss at Carolina.

Aaron Donald, devourer of worlds, generated 10 pressures on Sunday and has already tied his career high with 11 sacks this season -- even though he held out all summer, didn't play in the first game, was rusty in the second, and still has two games remaining.

Troy Hill, who replaced Kayvon Webster, was the NFL's third-highest-graded cornerback in Week 15, per PFF. He allowed a 39.6 passer rating on 42 coverage snaps.

A league source confirmed Adam Schefter's report that Panthers outside linebacker Thomas Davis has been suspended for two games for his hit on Green Bay wide receiver Davante Adams. Coach Ron Rivera and defensive coordinator Steve Wilks said there was no intent by Davis on hit by to a defenseless receiver. Shaq Thompson, Carolina's other starting outside linebacker that has missed the last two games with a foot injury, told me today he is feeling better and he's hopeful to be back this week. Davis is appealing.

Don't sleep on Robert Quinn. The Rams' outside linebacker has six sacks over his last four games and, according to Pro Football Focus, has generated 17 quarterback pressures during that time. That's the same amount of pressures he had through the season's first eight games.

The Giants interviewed VP of player evaluation Marc Ross for their general manager position. Smart football guy. He has been with the organization since 2007.
