Ravens WR Steve Smith had some harsh words for Dolphins players who complained about the grass field at M&T Bank Stadium after Sunday's 38-6 loss to Baltimore. "Since Miami go their ass whupped, of course they're going to complain about it. It looked pretty good for us. I've been to Miami. They shouldn't be barking when they just started putting grass on half of the field when they had dirt in baseball. Beggars can't be choosers."

Assistant DA making point with Pierre Thomas in re-direct that Cardell Hayes brandishing a gun was more dangerous than Richard Hernandez taking off his shirt. The ADA used defense attorney John Fuller's example of how fistfights lead to knife fights lead to gunfights by asking if any of those things happened with Will Smith. Thomas said no. And the ADA asked if Richard Hernandez's behavior led to Hernandez being shot at or killed. Thomas said no. "Why can't we just take out our guns when we start yelling each other?" the ADA said.

Redskins left tackle Trent Williams said his recent suspension is nothing like when the one that occurred in 2011, which is why he said there's a "lot of anger and disappointment." Williams was suspended four games each time for violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Thomas replied that Hernandez was fighting with Kevin O'Neal, while Smith and Hayes were involved in a separate argument on the other side of their vehicles.
