Ezekiel Elliott was not on the field during the open portion of practice to the media. Elliott suffered a stinger in last week's win vs. Philadelphia but he managed to return to the game. He had 40 touches against the Eagles and the Cowboys have been mindful of his workload in practice during the season.

The Bucs will be playing in one of five international games in 2019. This was part of them getting to host the Super Bowl in 2021. Four games will be played in London and a fifth game in Mexico City. They will have one less home game next year.

The NFL announced Wednesday that it will play five games internationally in 2019: four in London and one in Mexico City. But don't expect the Packers to travel overseas. Even though they play a road game at the Chargers next season and the Chargers are hosting one of the international games, I'm told the Packers aren't expected to be their overseas opponent next season.

If the Bucs lose to the Ravens and the Vikings beat the Dolphins this week, the Bucs will be eliminated from the playoffs...or if they lose to the Ravens, the Eagles beat the Rams and the Redskins beat the Jaguars.

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone says RT Jermey Parnell (knee) is "pretty banged up." That means the Jaguars could have only one starting offensive lineman on the field for Sunday's game against Washington.

Bill Belichick didn't agree with a question that suggested the Patriots would be facing a Steelers team that is lacking confidence because of a three-game losing streak. "I think if you guys are around competitive guys, you wouldn't see that. So I don't give that any credibility at all. Competitive people compete. That's what they do. That's certainly what the Steelers are. I'm sure we'll get their best. I think they'll get our best. And we'll see what happens."

Joe Philbin knocks on the wooden podium when talking about Aaron Rodgers' having just one INT and how critical that will be against the Bears' takeaway-driven defense. "Hopefully it stays that way," Philbin said. "We talked today in the meeting. The reality is they lead in the NFL in takeaways, and the other reality is we've been good at taking care of the football. We've got to avoid those things that happened to the Rams the other night."

Rob Demovsky ESPN Staff Writer

Joe Philbin on G Byron Bell to IR: "Byron's made a real valuable contribution, but Justin (McCray), as a coach, when you go to bed at night, you think about the faith you have in your guys and this guy is a competitor and you appreciate that."

Bills running back LeSean McCoy (hamstring) will not practice Wednesday, coach Sean McDermott said. McDermott said the team will take it "one day a time" as far as McCoy's availability for Sunday's game against the Lions. Backup Chris Ivory (shoulder) will practice Wednesday.

Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer

The Ravens are officially Lamar Jackson's team. Jackson was named the starting quarterback and Joe Flacco will serve as the backup. This decision is based on the fact that Baltimore believes Jackson gives the team the best chance to win and reach the playoffs. Jackson gives the Ravens a spark and an offensive identity.

Updated playoff information from ESPN Stats and Information: The Browns are eliminated from playoff consideration if ... 1. They lose and either the Colts, Dolphins, Ravens or Titans win. Or ... 2. The Steelers, Colts and Titans all win. Pittsburgh plays New England, the Dolphins are at Minnesota, the Ravens host Tampa Bay and Tennessee is at the Giants.

Jordan Raanan ESPN Staff Writer

WR Odell Beckham (quad) is "gettting better" and on an upward trend, per Pat Shurmur. But he will not practice Wednesday. ‬TE Rhett Ellison (ankle) also not expected to practice.

Jeremy Fowler ESPN Staff Writer

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (bruised ribs) expects to get rest Wednesday, isn't sure if he'll wear extra protection Sunday vs. the Patriots. "They are not fun to deal with at times, wake you up when you're sleep," he said. "It is what it is. You just go play football. Everyone is banged up. Not just me.”

Rob Demovsky ESPN Staff Writer

Roster move: The Packers signed G Nico Siragusa to the active roster from the Ravens practice squad and placed G Byron Bell (knee) on injured reserve.

Tim McManus ESPN Staff Writer

Carson Wentz will not practice Wednesday because of back soreness.
