Falcons sign former Georgia product WR Reggie Davis to practice squad. Was with the Falcons in preseason but waived and then claimed by Browns. Davis was just waived by Browns after they elevated one-time Falcon Jordan Leslie from the practice squad. Julio Jones (back) will be limited at practice this week.

Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston has donated and will present 400 Publix Supermarket gifts cards of $25 dollars each to families impacted by Hurricane Irma. Feeding Tampa Bay is also donating 35 pounds of food to each family. Winston has been very active helping the community post-Irma. Cardinals guard Alex Boone has "something of a pec strain," general manager Steve Kim said during a radio interview this morning. Boone will have an MRI but Keim didn't sound the injury would cause Boone to miss any time. "He's extremely tough," Keim said. "He's the kind of guy who will play through pain. I think it would have to be pretty severe to miss time."

Rookie Harrison Butker will be the Chiefs' kicker after they placed Cairo Santos on the inured reserve list. Santos missed much of training camp and the preseason because of a sore groin muscle. The Chargers got a roughing the kicker penalty against Santos in Sunday's game. Santos was able to finish the game. The Chiefs signed Butker off the practice squad of the Carolina Panthers. He was Carolina's seventh-round draft pick from Georgia Tech.
