The Jets will be on the field at 1:50 p.m. for their first practice. By rule, they're not allowed to practice in pads for the first two days, so it's basically a glorified minicamp. It's closed to the public. Todd Bowles will address the media afterward, and he can expect many questions about the quarterback competition. Josh McCown said he's not sure how the reps will be divided, but he suspects it will be similar to OTAs and minicamp. That would mean first-team reps for all three. We'll see.

Rookie report at camp: First-round pick Haason Reddick found out what it's like to cover the best running back in the league. He was paired up with David Johnson during a running back-linebacker passing drill. Reddick needed all the luck he could find. On one play, Johnson pulled off his patented side-step move and juked past Reddick. On another, Johnson gave Reddick a shoulder fake at the line of scrimmage and Reddick couldn't recover.
