Tom Cable made it sound like it'll be Rees Odhiambo or Matt Tobin starting at left tackle for the Seahawks. He said rookie Ethan Pocic is not an option. Cable raved about Luke Joeckel at guard and stressed that they do not want to move him over to tackle. At this point, it sounds like that would be only an emergency option.

If you arrived from outer space and landed at today's Jets practice, you'd draw this conclusion about their quarterback situation: They have no clue as to who will start. Christian Hackenberg and Bryce Petty split the first-team reps, with presumptive starter Josh McCown barely getting on the field. This looks like a Hackenberg vs. Petty day. Enough experimenting; it's time to settle on a lineup.

With rookie Garett Bolles as #Broncos LT and Menelik Watson at RT, have to wonder about future of veteran OT Donald Stephenson with the team

Hue Jackson was asked on a conference call if he had an announcement on the quarterback. His answer: "Today's Tuesday. Got another day."

Jason Garrett acknowledged Cooper Rush getting No. 2 quarterback snaps is as much to do with what Rush has done and what Kellen Moore hasn't. "Probably a combination," Garret said. "I thought Kellen has done some really good things and then other times hasn't been as good. And Cooper has taken advantage of his opportunities when he's gotten them." Rush and Moore will continue to split snaps at today's practice with the second-team offense.

The Bills placed WR Anquan Boldin on the reserve/retired list Tuesday, opening a spot on their 90-man roster.

Vince Biegel's (foot) is not ready to come off PUP, coach Mike McCarthy said. If the fourth-round pick is to work at all before the regular season, it would come in the final week of the preseason.

Some developments at Jets camp: RB Matt Forte (hamstring) is taking part in team drills for the first time since July 31. Mind you, this isn't a live practice; it's game plan-related so far. Also, all three quarterbacks have taken reps with the first-team offense. Notably not practicing: CB Morris Claiborne (undisclosed reason).

Jeff Legwold ESPN Senior Writer

For Broncos safety T.J. Ward is back in practice after missing time with a hamstring injury. Line Shaquil Barrett (hip) also working in drills for firs time in preseason. Linebacker Todd Davis (shoulder) also working with starters in drills.
