The big play was a 27-yard completion to Doug Baldwin, and the drive ended with a 27-yard field goal. The starters are expected to play into the third quarter.

Cowboys rookie RB Zeke Elliott has looked impressive tonight. Runs hard, drops his pads on contact & has the vision to find daylight. Speed to get to the edge, too.

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

Ezekiel Elliott had five carries for 40 yards on that drive against the Seahawks' starting defense. Drive went 81 yards on seven plays.

As the Cowboys start their second series Tony Romo remains on the sideline with Dak Prescott taking the first team snaps.

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

Tony Romo took two steps on to the field after missing three snaps but he was sent back to the sideline. He did not sit down while getting examined by doctors. He is now throwing passes on the sideline

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

Tony Romo is down after a sack by Cliff Avril as he was sliding to ground. Avril was on top of Romo and he appeared to jam his back into the ground. He was able to walk off on own power.

Jared Goff, on what he wants to accomplish in Week 3 of the preseason: "I just want to build off what I was able to feel last game. It started to feel a lot more like it has in the past. I think that just comes with more reps and settling in. I want to build off that in Denver."

Vaughn McClure ESPN Staff Writer

Falcons QB Matt Ryan finishes the night vs. Dolphins completing 12 of 22 passes for 129 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in the red zone. Matt Schaub replaces him.

James Walker ESPN Staff Writer

Dolphins RB Isaiah Pead has a hamstring injury. Tough break for him.

Vaughn McClure ESPN Staff Writer

Looks like Falcons coach Dan Quinn told NBC Julio Jones (ankle) could have returned, and Jones obviously wanted to return. Smart to keep him out.

Vaughn McClure ESPN Staff Writer

Julio Jones (ankle), Keanu Neal (knee), Adrian Clayborn (shoulder) all out for game.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Sounds like Todd Gurley will play a series or two and that's it on Saturday. The rest of the starters will add a couple of series to what they got last game.

James Walker ESPN Staff Writer

It's worth noting Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill wasn't sacked in that half. The O-line did its job.
