Jamal Agnew and Dwayne Washington not at open portion of Lions practice -- so Detroit's return game could have new faces. D.J. Hayden is in a red no-contact jersey (below) while Tavon Wilson is not for the first time in a long time.

Injury updates from Pete Carroll on his 710 ESPN Seattle radio show: running back Mike Davis is unlikely to play Sunday after suffering a groin strain Monday night. Right guard Oday Aboushi suffered a dislocated shoulder and will be out this week. Left guard Luke Joeckel has a good chance to be back after missing the last five games following knee surgery. Carroll wasn't sure about cornerback Shaquill Griffin, who suffered a concussion vs. Atlanta.

Nick Wagoner ESPN Staff Writer

49ers waived veteran DL Datone Jones. The move frees up a spot for DE Tank Carradine to return from IR this week if he's ready.

Michael DiRocco ESPN Staff Writer

Maybe a good sign for the Jaguars: RT Jermey Parnell working off to the side at practice on Tuesday. Last two weeks he wasn't spotted at practice. Would seem to indicate that he's getting closer to a possible return.

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

Sean Lee was the only player not on the field during the open portion of Tuesday's practice. Tyron Smith (groin) took the first-team snaps at left tackle, while linebacker Anthony Hitchens (groin) and safety Jeff Heath (concussion) took the first-team defensive snaps. The players are not in pads or shells for the practice with such a quick turnaround.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

The Redskins also have signed running back LeShun Daniels off the practice squad, in addition to linebacker Pete Robertson and nose tackle A.J. Francis. They've also signed center Demetrius Rhaney.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

The Redskins also put center Spencer Long on injured reserve. Long will need surgery on his quad tendon. His replacement, Chase Roullier, injured his hand and his status is uncertain Thursday.

Michael Rothstein ESPN Staff Writer

Matthew Stafford said Matt Prater is "as clutch as they get" and gave him a bunch of credit for Detroit's come-from-behind wins over the past couple of seasons. Prater is perfect in his career on game-winning or game-tying field goals late in the fourth quarter.

Michael Rothstein ESPN Staff Writer

Matthew Stafford on his favorite Thanksgiving memory with the Lions.

Jeremy Fowler ESPN Staff Writer

Steelers get corner help, activate rookie Cam Sutton from the reserve/injured list. Sutton is listed as a third-string corner.

Michael Rothstein ESPN Staff Writer

Mike Zimmer on keeping Matt Prater out of field goal range: "Have to move the goalposts back, I guess." Prater made big field goals against them last year.
