That was a franchise QB drive for Marcus Mariota. He's clearly limited with the hammy, made some great clutch throws and got a huge go-ahead TD.

With a short week before the Raiders home game against the Chiefs Thursday night, three linebackers were on Oakland's injury report on Monday. All the more reason, then, for NaVorro Bowman to get up to speed and suit up.

Avery Williamson with a great forced fumble but Titans waste it with poor red zone offense. It's been a story all game, 3 instead of 7.

The Colts have taken a bend, but don't break approach on defense so far. They've held the Titans to five field goals tonight. They should be glad about giving up only three points on that last series after Jack Doyle's fumble in Indy's territory.

Derrick Morgan questionable to return with abdominal strain.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

Jack Doyle just gave the Titans some life. He fumbled after an 11-yard reception in Indy territory. The Titans are in position to tie the game up with a touchdown and extra point. That was Doyle's second fumble of the season.

Colts Rashaan Melvin has come up with two key pass breakups on third down since returning from leaving the game in the first half.

Colts Rashaan Melvin has come up with two key pass breakups on third down since returning from leaving the game in the first half.

Colts linebacker John Simon, who has been the team's best defensive player this season, just showed off his vertical when he leaped and picked up off Marcus Mariota's pass and returned it for a touchdown. Adam Vinatieri hit the left upright on the extra point. Indy with a 19-9 lead.

Looked like the Titans' D first half game plan was to play a zone to take away T.Y. Hilton - it's worked, 1 catch, 19 yards - but rest of offense benefits.

RB C.J. Spiller, who was with the Chiefs earlier in the season, was re-signed as Kansas City has two backs on this week's injury report. Kareem Hunt has a knee injury, though he's listed as a full practice participant for Monday. Charcandrick West has a concussion and did not practice. The Chiefs waived rookie WR Marcus Kemp to clear roster space for Spiller.

Adam Teicher ESPN Staff Writer

The Chiefs didn't practice today but issued an injury report that says WR Tyreek Hill would have been a full practice participant with a neck injury if they had. Others who who would have been full participants: RB Kareem Hunt (knee), DL Allen Bailey (knee) and safety Steven Terrell (concussion). Offensive linemen Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (knee) and Mitch Morse (foot) would have been limited participants. Running back Charcandrick West (concussion) and wide receiver Albert Wilson (knee) would not have practiced.

There were no punts or turnovers in a first half where both teams moved up and down the field with ease. Marcus Mariota looked solid as a pocket passer, but the Titans struggled to get consistency in the run game. The Titans D lost the battle up front letting the Colts O run at will (6.1 yards per carry) and Jacoby Brissett (no sacks) had plenty of time to throw.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

The Colts couldn't have asked for a better first half out of their offensive line. The o-line, which lost guard Jack Mewhort to a season-ending knee injury over the weekend, did not give up a sack in the first 30 minutes of the game. The clean pocket allowed Jacoby Brissett to go 12-of-17 for 119 yards and a touchdown in a half where Indy's defense held the Titans to just three field goals.

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Adoree Jackson held up well with good coverage on T.Y. Hilton during that final drive before half. Big for TENN to hold IND to 3.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

Former Colts linebacker Erik Walden finally had an impact on the game. He was called for roughing the passer, which gives Indy the ball first and goal from Titans' 7-yard line

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Titans losing the battle in the trenches vs Colts banged up OL. Jacoby Brissett has all day to throw and Colts averaging 7 yards per carry.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

Colts cornerback Rashaan Melvin is being taken off the field to be evaluated. Pierre Desir is in at cornerback now.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

The Colts might want to worry about getting the play calls in a little quicker. They just used their second timeout because the play clock was about to expire.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

The Colts continue to find a way to hurt themselves. John Simon sacked Mariota on third down, but Darius Butler was called for holding, which gave the Titans an automatic first down. Tennessee picked up 28 yards on its next play.

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Adoree' Jackson is back. Good news for Titans who need him as a CB and returner.

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Adoree' Jackson is in the medical tent. He limped off the field and is being looked at by trainers in the tent.

Mr. Automatic? Titans K Ryan Succop has made a NFL record 47 consecutive FGs under 50 yards.
