Andy Reid said safety Eric Berry would probably get some work in practice this week and perhaps play on Friday night against the Seahawks depending on how he fares. "I'm being a little bit conservative in that area," Reid said. "I think we know what he can do. But at the same time I want to make sure he's comfortable going into our first game against New England." Berry hasn't practiced or played for a couple weeks because of what the Chiefs are calling a heel injury. "He's a determined guy," Reid said. "We might have to put the clamps on him a little bit because he's full throttle when he's out there."

Through 15 practices and two games, this is the unofficial tally for the Jets' quarterbacks: Christian Hackenberg 365 snaps, Josh McCown 332 and Bryce Petty 227. All things considered, that's about as even as could be expected.

Coach Andy Reid said there was a possibility the Chiefs might keep their top four running backs. "If we only keep three, then somebody's going to get a heck of a player," Reid said. Spencer Ware is the starter and rookie Kareem Hunt is the top reserve. C.J. Spiller and Charcandrick West are competing to be the No. 3 back. West had runs of 50, 27 and 25 yards in Saturday night's win over the Bengals. "if we can keep all four, then that's great," Reid said.
