It's preseason, so maybe little of it will prove meaningful. But the Titans went to Oakland and really looked smooth on offense when the first-team played Saturday night. Giants 21, Jets 20 (FINAL): A terrific performance by the starting defense was ruined by sloppy play from the Jets' QBs. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg combined for three turnovers. Geno Smith played, too. He had no turnovers, but he provided no spark. Basically, nothing was settled with regard to the No. 2 and No. 3 quarterback jobs. The biggest concern is LB David Harris, who left with a shoulder injury.

Jared Goff threw the ball nine times in that drive, though one was wiped out because of a penalty. He completed a third of them. One (to Duke Williams) should've been caught. Another (to Pharoh Cooper) resulted in a sensational catch. Another (to the left side) should've resulted in a pick-six. And the last one (to Malcolm Brown) was dropped but a really tough catch. Still doesn't look great.
