Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said "nothing has changed" with QB Tony Romo's status. "It's something we're working through," Garrett said at the NFL owners meetings. Romo isn't expected back in Dallas but he remains on the Cowboys' roster.

Cowboys Coach Jason Garrett on the immediate future of franchise icon Tony Romo: "I don't want to get into specifics (regarding trade rumors) but we continue to work through that situation."

John Schneider on Trevone Boykin's status with the Seahawks: "We're still getting all the information. I haven't read the police report yet. I spoke with him yesterday afternoon. He was incredibly apologetic. Felt like wrong place at the wrong time. But we have to keep researching it and find out what's going on. In terms of his future with the club, that's not something that I can, like I said I don't have all the information yet. But we're obviously going to have somebody in there competing with him at some point."

The Cowboys have signed coordinators Scott Linehan, Rod Marinelli and Rich Bisaccia to extensions, according to multiple sources. The Cowboys did not want their coaches to go into 2017 into a lame-duck situation.

49ers general manager John Lynch said he spoke to Michigan coach (and former Niners coach) Jim Harbaugh on the phone for a while on Monday. Lynch picked Harbaugh's brain about the Wolverines' lengthy list of draft prospects. Harbaugh told Lynch he was "fired up" for Lynch and his new job.

Jets coach Todd Bowles raised eyebrows today with his relaxed comments about player punctuality. It was an issue last season because defensive linemen Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson were benched for a quarter because they were late and/or missed meetings. "It's part of it," Bowles said. "Sometimes you're late to work. It's life. It's not life threatening. Sometimes your alarm clock isn't going to go off."

John Schneider on Marshawn Lynch: "I talk to his representatives all the time. They have a ton of players. Marshawn, what I can tell you is he's on reserve/retired as a Seattle Seahawk right now. And that's where it stands. It kind of took off like wildfire for one weekend."

49ers GM John Lynch said there was a point where the team had information that QB Colin Kaepernick was signing elsewhere. He said he doesn't know what happened but clearly the deal did not pan out.

The Eagles have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with CB Patrick Robinson. Robinson, a former first-round pick, spent the first five years of his career in New Orleans before playing for the Chargers in 2015 and the Colts in 2016. He started 6 games last season and had five passes defensed.

In DE Chris Long & CB Patrick Robinson, the Eagles added depth at arguably their two biggest needs. Both remain target spots in the daft.

Chuck Pagano on how they replace a number of leaders – Robert Mathis, D'Qwell Jackson, Mike Adams – who are no longer on the team: "I think it's all part of the deal where we have to develop new leaders. Andrew (Luck) is always going to be at the forefront of that. It comes with the job, he understands that, but the way the league is now, with free agency, rosters are turning over and you're going to lose people. At some point you ‘re going to have say good bye to some great leaders, some great players. That's on us, that's on me, the coaching staff and everybody else to develop new leaders."

Colts coach Chuck Pagano to reporters at the owners meetings on if it's unsettling not having QB Andrew Luck during offseason workouts: "Uh yeah. Again, I don't have a timeline on that. We're just taking it one day a time. When doctors come to us and trainers come to us and say, ‘Here you go, he's ready to go.' But we have to be smart about it. Bring him back too fast and you have a setback. That's the worst thing we can do." Luck had right shoulder surgery in January after re-injuring it in Week 2 last season.

Seahawks GM John Schneider had no new information on Marshawn Lynch. He said all he knows is that Lynch is on the reserve/retired list right now. Schneider has talked to Lynch's agent, Doug Hendrickson, but Hendrickson represents a lot of players around the league.

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

Seahawks GM John Schneider said he's been in touch with Scott McCloughan, but McCloughan has other opportunities he's exploring right now and there's no plans at this time for him to rejoin Seattle.

Howie Roseman, the Eagles' executive VP of football operations, on signing of former Patriots' DE Chris Long and how he'll fit. "Our conversations with Chris have been about that we have young players at that position. He's very excited to come aboard and help contribute. No promises have been given but at the same time, we have high expectations."

Mike Tomlin gave Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots their props during the NFL owners meetings:
