The Colts are working on a one-year contract with kicker Adam Vinatieri, according to a source. The deal will hopefully be done by Thursday, according to a source. Vinatieri, who will be heading into his 23rd NFL season, is only 58 points shy of passing Morten Andersen (2,544 points) on the NFL's all-time scoring list. Vinatieri has scored at least 58 points in every season of his career with the exception of 2009 when he only played in nine games. I'm told that Bucs cornerback Jude Adjei-Barimah has been cleared by his surgeon to return to football. He'll be ready to participate in OTAs. He spent all of last year recovering from a patellar fracture in his right knee. Depth was an issue at corner for the Bucs last year, and him playing outside and nickel certainly helps.

A former colleague of new Bucs defensive line coach Brentson Buckner called him a "home-run hire" who relates to players. Also used the words "high-character" and "fantastic individual."

Ryan Shazier spoke on teammate Roosevelt Nix's podcast, marking his first interview since the severe spinal injury in December. He plans to play again. "I really feel I'm the best linebacker ever," Shazier said. "I just have to be back out there so everybody can see it. You know what I'm saying?"
