At 4-2, the Dolphins are right in the thick of the AFC East and playoff race. Miami overcame a ton of adversity in the first two months of the season, including hurricane Irma, injuries to quarterbacks Ryan Tannehill and Jay Cutler and former offensive line coach Chris Foerster resigning under controversial circumstances. There is plenty of room for this team to improve and get better in November and December.

David Newton ESPN Staff Writer

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton said he is not feeling sorry for himself and he doesn't expect anybody else to. But he sure had a long face in his press conference.

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton on the 4th and 1 failure that the Bears brought a zero blitz and there was ‘'no movement. ‘'

All right, that's pretty good - hide-and-seek TD celebration by JuJu Smith-Schuster and Le'Veon Bell after JuJu gets free for easy 31-yard score. Steelers offense looks as crisp as it has all season.

Jordan Raanan ESPN Staff Writer

The Seahawks don't get any points as Jimmy Graham unable to corral fourth-down pass in end zone. Giants being outgained 107-9 but it's 0-0.

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

Jeff Heath is about to kickoff for the Cowboys, so now we know why the Cowboys went for the 2-point conversion but there is no word yet on an injury for Dan Bailey.

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Marcus Mariota and Mike Mularkey both pointed out the red zone woes as what's stopping them from being a consistently effective offense.

And let the Super Bowl rematch fun begin.

The Eagles have a 95 percent chance of making the playoffs and are the current favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, per FPI. They raced out to a 5-1 record -- the best in the NFL -- despite playing four of their first six games on the road. Monday's game against the Redskins marks the first of three straight at home, a chance for the Eagles to separate even further from the pack.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco on struggling offense: "I wouldn't say we're overall trying to fix something that's completely broken. We can't look at it that way. We got to keep our heads up and play one game at a time. This is where we are right now. There's nothing we can do to go back in time and change it at this point."

Andy Dalton sometimes has a tendency to force passes to A.J. Green, but he made a really nice decision and a nice throw to hit Brandon LaFell for a touchdown instead. The Steelers were keying in on A.J. Green in the end zone and he just wasn't open there. Dalton looked sharp on the Bengals' game-tying drive, which was highlighted by a 16-yard pass to Green a few plays prior. Joe Mixon got things started off with a 25-yard run. The Bengals started Jeremy Hill this game, but Mixon could end up being the key here. They should incorporate him more.

Bucs safety T.J. Ward is very frustrated by a lack of playing time right now. "I came here to be an impact player," Ward said. "I'm at my wits' end. I did not come here to rotate. I did not come here to be a part-time player."

James Walker ESPN Staff Writer

Dolphins QB Matt Moore said it's great to be 4-2 with all the "craziness" that's gone on this season.

Mike Triplett ESPN Staff Writer

Mark Ingram said he absolutely plans to make Sean Payton deliver on his claim that he would provide free pedicures if everyone wore the right cleats this week and handled the slippery Lambeau Field turf. Players don't like wearing the longer screw-in metal cleats because they're uncomfortable. But Payton demanded it this week and showed clips of players slipping at Lambeau throughout the week.

The last time the Chargers had a return for a touchdown was a 65-yard punt return for a score by Micheal Spurlock in a December 2012 game against the New York Jets.

David Newton ESPN Staff Writer

More Ron Rivera on Cam Newton and two big passes he missed: ‘'He overthrew Christian and he overthrew Kelvin. Those are some things you wish you could have back and he knows it too. On both of those I saw him, his expression right after he missed them.''

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

You can't help but feel really good about where the Rams are right now. They're as healthy as a team can expect to be through 7 weeks, but everything is clicking. Defense has allowed only 39 points in the last 14 quarters, while settling in under Wade Phillips. Special teams continues to be a strength, as has been the case for a while now. And the offense, a decade-long hindrance, looks good. Todd Gurley looks like one of the NFL's best RBs again, and QB Jared Goff, with a much better offensive line and weapons all around him, is light years ahead of where he was as a rookie. Sean McVay may be running away with Coach of the Year honors.

Nick Wagoner ESPN Staff Writer

49ers CB Rashard Robinson headed to locker room after landing on Dez Bryant's knees. Robinson has battled some form of injury in basically every game this season. Ahkello Witherspoon replaced him.

Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer

Ravens coach John Harbaugh on wide receiver Mike Wallace trying to get back in the game after suffering a concussion: "That's Mike. It's not surprising. Mike's a tough guy. He was adamant about wanting to get back in the game. He's got some kind of a concussion to some degree. We will find how, over the next couple days, shakes out. That doesn't surprise me."

Jenna Laine ESPN Staff Writer

Adam Humphries coughing up the ball and then that coverage bust plus a 15-yard penalty on that final drive doomed the Bucs today. At 2-4, their season is starting to slip away. They can't count on a late season run like last year with such a back-loaded divisional schedule.

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

Not a bad first quarter for Ezekiel Elliott with 59 yards on seven carries. In his last two quarters of action he has 20 carries for 140 yards. It took longer than he or the Cowboys wanted, but the running game is finally finding its rhythm.

Brady Henderson ESPN

Justin Britt is now on the sideline getting looked at by Seahawks trainers after walking off the field on his own power. Rookie Ethan Pocic, who was rotating with Mark Glowinski at left guard, is now playing center.

David Newton ESPN Staff Writer

Panthers coach Ron Rivera on the play of Cam Newton: ‘'I thought he had his moments. The option, the pitch wasn't his fault. That ball should be caught but we'll work on it, we'll get better at it. And then the ball ricocheted in the air [for a pick-6], That's not his fault. . .. Again give them credit. They played a heck of a defensive football game.''

James Walker ESPN Staff Writer

The Dolphins have now won 12 straight games decided by seven points or fewer, extending a team record.
