There have been a couple times quarterback Kirk Cousins has had to run to the Redskins sidelines to get the play. It could be an issue with the headset. It's not happening every play though.

ESPN Stats and Information

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has thrown 18 TD passes inside the 2-minute warning (in either half) in his career. That's the most by a QB since Carr joined the NFL in 2014.

Bucs defensive tackle Gerald McCoy told me that even missing two days of practice can cause a player to lose his conditioning. So it will challenging going against such an up-tempo offense like Chip Kelly's. No amount of treadmill running will do that

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree did a great job selling the release on the TD pass from Derek Carr. With Crabtree stemming outside off the release, he created leverage back to the ball on the slant route. That's an excellent set-up move to get points. The Raiders push the lead to 20-6 over the Jags at the half.

49ers inactives for today: WR Keshawn Martin, QB Christian Ponder, DT Glenn Dorsey, RB Carlos Hyde, CB Marcus Cromartie, OT John Theus, TE Je'Ron Hamm. So WR Torrey Smith will indeed be active and available after battling a back injury this week.

Kevin Seifert NFL Nation

It looked like Michael Crabtree realized that throat-slash gestures are against NFL rules just as he started doing it. He put his hand at his neck and then pulled it down. From a technical standpoint, he deserved the penalty. But in reality, it was a "throat" not a "throat slash" gesture.

The last time Julio Jones played in the Georgia Dome he set a franchise record with 300 receiving yards vs. Carolina. Today he'll face a depleted Chargers secondary.

Jenna Laine ESPN Staff Writer

Bucs Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy IS active today. Great news! He suffered a calf injury in Week 4 and missed the Monday Night Football game against Carolina. He stayed in Tampa the whole time for the bye week so he could rehab.

ESPN Stats and Information

Kevin Hogan is the 6th Browns player to attempt a pass this season. No other NFL team had more than 3 players attempt a pass this season.

The Jaguars' offense continues to be a mess. They've managed just six points and 152 yards against one of the worst defenses in the NFL and trail Oakland 20-6 at the half. The Raiders are last in the NFL in total defense (444.8 ypg) and pass defense (312.7 ypg). It's clear that there is something wrong with QB Blake Bortles. He has just five completions and threw another end zone interception. The only time the offense looked functional was when they went to hurry-up but it bogged down in the red zone.

Saints trail 21-7 after a sloppy, penalty-plagued first half at Kansas City. They had seven penalties for 50 yards – most of them on offense, including a delay-of-game penalty that killed a promising drive just before halftime. The Saints also can't avoid giving up the big play. All three of the Chiefs' TDs are from 38 yards or more (including an interception return for a touchdown after a tipped pass by Drew Brees).

Darius Slay OUT with hamstring injury

Rich Cimini ESPN Staff Writer

It was an eventful first half for the Jets, who trail the Ravens, 16-14. Geno Smith's hard-luck history with injuries continued. He left with a second-quarter knee injury, resulting in the return of Ryan Fitzpatrick -- four days after he was benched. Fitzpatrick provided a spark, leading a touchdown drive on his first series. It never fails; the Jets' quarterback situation always provides drama. Welcome to the last 40 years.

Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer

Ravens QB Joe Flacco shows no signs of an injured shoulder, averaging 14.7 yards per completion as Baltimore leads, 16-14, at halftime. Special teams is carrying Ravens with three Justin Tucker field goals and Chris Moore's fumble recovery for TD off mishandled snap by punter.

Ben Goessling ESPN Staff Writer

All three Vikings turnovers have been attributable to their protection issues. They've tried moving Jake Long, T.J. Clemmings and Jeremiah Sirles around at tackle today, but they haven't been able to create a clean pocket for Sam Bradford, who's fumbled twice and thrown an interception when he was hit.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

That was a great finish by Bengals WR A.J. Green on the Hail Mary toss from Andy Dalton at the end of the first half. Even with the Browns defenders in a position to knock the ball down, Green got a hand on the pass and eventually brought it in for a TD. The Bengals take a 21-10 lead into the locker room.

Adam Teicher ESPN Staff Writer

Daniel Sorensen caught Kansas City's eye because of his special team skills as an undrafted rookie in 2014. But he's developing into a reliable defender and he's been one of the Chiefs' best players today as they lead the Saints 21-7 at halftime. The Chiefs are comfortable using Sorensen as a spare safety in passing situations because of his instincts and ball skills. He has a touchdown on a 48-yard interception return, a sack of Drew Brees and an open field tackle that forced a New Orleans punt.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

Brandon Scherff has returned to the Redskins lineup after missing two series with a shoulder injury.

Nick Wagoner ESPN Staff Writer

Cornerback Jimmie Ward has been out with a quadriceps injury since Week 3 in Seattle but is poised to return to the lineup today against Tampa Bay.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

Redskins corner Josh Norman hasn't covered Marvin Jones on every play, but it has been quite often – and it's been effective. Jones, who has been targeted 47 times this year – most on the Lions -- has yet to be targeted. Again, Norman's physical jams off the line have made a difference.

Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer

In what has been a recurring theme, Ravens K Justin Tucker hits his third FG of the game to put Baltimore ahead, 16-14, going into halftime. He's now converted 25 field goals in a row.
