The Eagles have had the flea flicker they used Sunday night in their playbook "forever," OC Frank Reich said today. They finally ran it. In talking with head coach Doug Pederson the night before, during the staff's weekly "first 15 plays" meeting, Reich first realized the play would be used. Pederson was committed that night to being aggressive offensively versus the Vikings.

Vikings announce they have signed practice squad wide receiver Cayleb Jones to a reserve/futures contract. The team did the same with Cedrick Lang, Dieugot Joseph, Caushaud Lyons, Ifeadi Odenigbo, Antwione Williams and Horace Richardson.

Wearing a boot on his left foot, former Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph said on Tuesday in Mobile, Alabama, that he expects to be fine for the NFL combine next month and plans to fully participate in drills. He called his injury a "mid-foot sprain," and will be in the boot another week. Rudolph, the No. 5-ranked QB in the Class of 2018 by both Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr., isn't participating in on-field workouts at the Senior Bowl but is doing interviews with NFL teams and taking part in classroom sessions with the South team, which is coached by the Texans.

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam has been named to the NFL player/owner committee that will deal with social justice issues with players. The committee will work with the league and focus on supporting programs and efforts that reduce barriers to opportunity, with a priority on supporting improvements in education and economic development, community and police relations, and the criminal justice system. Haslam released the following statement:

Mike Zimmer says he's in the process now of searching for Pat Shurmur's replacement and would like to find an offensive coordinator 'as soon as possible.' Zimmer notes the chemistry between the offensive, defensive and special teams coaches this year, so finding someone who can come in and keep that going will be among his top priorities.
