"When you look at the Raiders, you look at an organization that historically has been at the forefront of civil rights and social movements. Hired the first African-American head coach (Art Shell) Hired the first Latino-American head coach (Tom Flores). Hired the first female in the front office (Amy Trask)...but our organization believes that you should act as a good teammate and a good organizational member and do the right thing," -Jack Del Rio, saying he believes players should respect the U.S. flag.

"In America, as individuals, we all have freedoms and that's one of the things that makes our country great. We may not always like or appreciate the fact that somebody is expressing themself. For us, I think it's more about recognizing you're part of an organization and you're representing our organization and our organization believes you should pay respect to the flag. So save those individual decisions to express yourself for an individual forum. That's how we feel, in taking with Mark Davis."

John Isner on Kaepernick's protest: I thought that was pathetic from him. The cause he was going for, fine by me, but don't do it in that fashion. He could have found some other ways to present his voice there. A lot of NBA players have done it, and good on 'em. For him doing it in that way really irked me. I'm a big Blaine Gabbert fan now.

Loved the Hawks giving Brandon Browner a shot, but there just wasn't enough speed & change of direction left in the tank to play in '16
