Bills DL Adolphus Washington's attorney, Clyde Bennett, tells ESPN that a July 9 concealed weapon charge against his client should be dismissed because Washington was not stopped by police -- he was "one of many patrons" in a parking lot at an Cincinnati-area water park -- and that Washington's weapon was not concealed because he was driving a three-wheeled vehicle with an open top. Washington pleaded not guilty Monday to the misdemeanor charge; he is not required to appear in court Aug. 1 for a pretrial hearing.

Wisconsin and Notre Dame sounds like a real possibility for Lambeau Field, as the Chicago Tribune reported. "We've been working on that for a while, and I would hope very soon we'd be able to announce something soon," Packers president Mark Murphy said. Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Adolphus Washington pleaded not guilty Monday in a Cincinnati, Ohio court on a misdemeanor charge of improperly carrying a concealed firearm stemming from a July 9 arrest at a water park. "I believe the charges are factually and legally inappropriate," Washington's attorney, Clyde Bennett, told ESPN. "I don't believe that Mr. Washington committed any crimes. That is why we have filed a motion to dismiss. Our intent and plan is to have the charges against him dismissed." Washington is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing August 1.

By this time next year, the Packers should know whether Green Bay would host the 2019 draft. "What I've heard is they're gong to announce soon the ‘18 draft [location], so it would probably around this time a year from now that they're looking at '19," Packers president Mark Murphy said. The Packers have put it a bid for 2019, 2020 and 2021. But Murphy said every NFL city plus Canton, Ohio, has put in a bid.
