Brian Hoyer is looking for Alshon Jeffery, but the duo has nothing to show for it. Jeffery has been targeted four times by Hoyer, but does not have a reception as the Bears' offense is still struggling to put points on the board.

With that Packers field goal, the all-time score between the teams in head-to-head regular-season games is tied 3,247 to 3,247, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Really good finish from Bears CB Cre'Von LeBlanc to take away the seam route in the end zone to Randall Cobb. With Aaron Rodgers putting that ball on the back-shoulder, LeBlanc got his hands inside to make a play. Packers take the field goal and a 3-0 lead in the first quarter.

Aaron Rodgers must've thought the Bears had 12 men on the field on the third-and-4 play because he went quickly. And then he didn't see Jordy Nelson wide open up top. Instead of a touchdown, they settle for three, but the Packers have now scored on five of their six game-opening possessions this season.

Bears defense stayed on the field for 13 plays and OLB Pernell McPhee did not play a single snap. McPhee took a spot on the 53-man roster today, so the Bears apparently think he can play despite just coming off PUP list.

There is a fine line between being creative and being caught on your heels by a severe personnel shortage. To wit: The Packers' first play featured a receiver (Ty Montgomery) taking a carry as a running back. On their next play, the Packers used a running back promoted today from the practice squad (Don Jackson). We shall see how it works out for them.

On the first play of the game, the Packers start Ty Montgomery at RB. He gets the first Green Bay carry of the night.

LaDarius Gunter shadowed Bears WR Alshon Jeffery on the first series. Brian Hoyer threw his way twice, both incomplete.

Is this monochromatic uniform garbage meant to distract us from the b.s. product the NFL is trotting out there most every Thursday night?

Kicker Robbie Gould is getting on a flight to join the Giants in London, per source. They needed a kicker after deciding Josh Brown wouldn't make trip.

We are 15 minutes away from kickoff in Green Bay where the Bears have won 2 of their last 3 meetings vs. the Packers. But overall Green Bay is 11-4 in their last 15 games against Chicago.
