It was a personal situation, and I don't want to get into personal situations," coach Ron Rivera said. A source told the Charlotte Observer Munnerlyn was upset about his role in the game plan for Sunday's game against Green Bay. Munnerlyn complained about playing time earlier this season.

Marcus Mariota started his Wednesday presser by apologizing to reporters in Arizona for his behavior during last Sunday's press conference. Mariota said Sunday he was "pissed off" with his performance in the 12-7 loss to the Cardinals. He mentioned his mom scolded him about it.

The Raiders signed DL Darius Latham to the active be roster from the practice squad and placed LB Cory James on Injured Reserve Wednesday, the team announced. The Raiders also signed DL Joby Saint Fleur to the practice squad.

Seahawks defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson called the sideline incident Sunday in Jacksonville "unfortunate" and said he wished it hadn't escalated to that level. Jefferson attempted to climb into the stands to confront a fan after several drinks were thrown at him, including one that nearly hit his head. Jefferson said he didn't recall a fan using a racial slur towards him, which is alleged by teammate Jarran Reed. Jefferson said one fan made a derogatory comment about his mother.

The 49ers signed WR Max McCaffrey from the Green Bay Packers practice squad to their active roster. To make room for McCaffrey on the roster, the Niners put WR Victor Bolden Jr. on injured reserve. McCaffrey, of course, is the son of former NFL wideout Ed McCaffrey and the brother of Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey.
